Team USA Kendo — Road to the 20th World Kendo Championships

Dear Team USA Supporters and Prospects,

The journey to the 20th World Kendo Championships begins now.

The 20th WKC will be held from May 27 to May 30, 2027 in Tokyo, Japan. Team USA is proud to announce the launch of its two-year training and preparation program leading up to the Championships.

Our next Team USA Training Camp will be held as follows:

Schedule:

Saturday, July 19, 2025: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday, July 20, 2025: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

The Team USA training camps are open to all kenshi who are prepared to train at a world-class level.
Official selection of Team USA members will take place in 2026, and will be drawn from among participants in these training camps.
Until official selection, all participating kenshi will be responsible for their own training costs.

Prospects must register using the Google Form linked in our bio.
The registration fee is $50, payable via PayPal to teamusakendo@gmail.com (payment link included on the registration form).
